Structure Synth + Photoshop
So where did this come from? (the inspiration)
I sometimes follow the flickr account of structure synth. There I found an artist called tohu777 ([link]). I found his structure synth creations to be just amazing. That also sparked the idea of L-systems in architecture, which was something that interested me a long time ago, so, I got online, downloaded a lot of pictures of buildings and skyscrapers and begun to think about them and decipher them with an algorithmic brain. I just finished some results and I'm really happy with them.
This is my first attemt at an algorithmic/random building and facade structure. I really like the slightly chaotic or apocalytic style, but I want to develop a more streamlined or "clean" facade style in the future. As you can see here there is randomness at the "micro" level, and in the next submissions you'll see that there's also controlled randomness at the structure level
